Vodka lemonade.. upgraded! I got this idea when I was looking to finish up some of my store-bought lemonade.. and, I had some vodka on hand. During the summer months, I pretty much always have cartons of berries and fruit taking up half my fridge space. So for this drink, I used some blueberries and blackberries that I had on hand!
This cocktail is light, refreshing, and easy to make. I used a light lemonade for mine, which means that there’s less sugar than the traditional lemonade option. Often times, vodka lemonade drinks tend to be too sweet for me, but this one is just right. A lot of recipes I find online will often involve some obscure syrups or ingredients, but I didn’t need any of that for this cocktail.

Another great alternative to this recipe would be to swap out the blackberries and blueberries and instead muddle some strawberries. I think a strawberry vodka lemonade would be delicious! Maybe you could even add some basil? Yum!!
