CHICKEN PARMESAN  with vodka sauce

Rich and creamy – Adding vodka sauce brings a rich and creamy twist to the classic Chicken Parmesan Store-bought is fine! – The best part about this recipe is that you can make your own chicken cutlets and vodka sauce… or you can buy them both and assemble them! Excellent leftovers

Ingredients

You'll need: chicken breast, eggs, breadcrumbs, flour, parmesan cheese, vodka sauce, mozzarella cheese, seasoning and vegetable oil. 

Step 1

Season both sides of each chicken piece with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and an Italian seasoning blend. Dredge in flour first, then whisked eggs.

Step 2

Coat the chicken thoroughly with the seasoned breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the crumbs to the chicken. 

Step 3

Carefully place 1-2 breaded chicken cutlets in the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side.

Step 4

Once cooked, transfer the chicken cutlets to a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt. 

Step 4

On each fried chicken cutlet, spread 1/4 cup of vodka sauce and mozzarella. Bake in the oven for approximately 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted
