Non-Alcoholic Aperol Spritz Recipe (Italian Mocktail)
Are you looking for the perfect summer mocktail with fresh citrus and simple ingredients? My Non-Alcoholic Aperol Spritz is the perfect non-alcoholic alternative to the classic Italian cocktail everyone loves so much. With two simple ingredients (lyre’s Italian spritz and soda water), I think this might be my new favorite recipe for the summer months!
I love a classic Aperol spritz. Heck, I love it so much that I often make a large batch of it to enjoy out on my patio in the summer. However, there are times when I want that classic taste of an Aperol spritz but without the hangover or icky feeling the next day.
That’s where my non-alcoholic Aperol spritz recipe comes in! This delicious alcohol-free spritz is the perfect aperol spritz mocktail – you truly wouldn’t know the difference!
A classic spritz has three components: Aperol, prosecco, and soda water. For this recipe, I could have mimicked the recipe perfectly with the addition of non-alcoholic sparkling wine, but I personally haven’t found one that I love the taste of yet. Instead, I used extra sparkling water, which was light and refreshing!

Ingredients
- Sparkling water – Refreshing and bubbly, sparkling water is the perfect base of this non-alcoholic Aperol Spritz. Its bubbles add a nice aspect to the drink and lighten up the intense bitter liqueur flavor of the Lyre’s Italian Spritz.
- Lyre’s Italian spritz – Lyre’s Italian Spritz is a carefully crafted non-alcoholic aperitif that captures the essence of the classic drink. Made with natural flavorings, it tastes like a good Italian spritz, but as a non-alcoholic version. I’ve tried a lot of non-alcoholic spirits, and I think this has the most natural flavoring (although that’s just my personal taste!).I truly believe that you need this ingredient for the most authentic non-alcoholic spritz experience. I was hesitant, but it has really nice Italian citrus flavors.
Substitutions and Additions
- Alcohol-free wine – Feel free to add some non-alcoholic sparkling wine. I wanted to make this recipe as simple as possible. Alcohol-free drinks like this spritz can taste like the classic Italian drink without the alcohol, but you’re free to customize it!
- Add fruit juice – You can add some fresh juice to this cocktail to give it a more fruity flavor. I’d suggest grapefruit juice or maybe a combination of juices! Maybe 1 part grapefruit juice, two parts of orange juice. That sounds really refreshing!
- Switch up the soda water – You can use any type of sparkling water you like – tonic water, club soda, seltzer water, etc. You could even use a dash of soda water with flavorings – like a grapefruit soda!
